THE trial of a man accused of murdering another man in Chelmsford has been fixed to start on November 20.
Michael Brennan denies killing Paul Simons at a flat in Moulsham Street in the early hours of May 4 this year.
The trial listed for two weeks had been set to start at the city's crown court on November 11 but the date was changed at a brief hearing on Monday.
Brennan, 22, from The Green, Melbourne, Chelmsford, is currently in custody.
A post mortem examination revealed 54-year-old Mr Simons from Bushey, Hertfordshire, died from stab wounds.
